Stations of the Cross and Eucharist: Join us Thursdays in Lent at noon for the traditional Way of the Cross, teaching, a time of intercessory prayer, and Eucharist.
Holy Week @ Holy Redeemer (Apr. 13–Apr. 20): This is the week each year when, by a mystery, we participate most deeply in the death and resurrection of Christ. For our joy at Easter to be complete, we pause with Jesus at the Last Supper shared with his apostles (Thurs., Apr. 17, at 7 p.m.) and at the foot of his Cross (Fri., Apr. 18, at 7 p.m.), which find glorious fulfillment as we celebrate on Easter Sunday (Apr. 20). Worship throughout Holy Week, stay awhile with Jesus in his Passion, and rejoice with this community of his disciples as he tramples down death by death!
Easter Sunday Breakfast and Egg Hunt: A bring-your-favorite-dish breakfast will take place on Easter morning in the Parish Hall (downstairs), beginning at 9 a.m. Juice, coffee, rolls, and pastries will be provided. Anyone who wishes to help with setup or cleanup, please see Debbie Tanner. A children’s easter egg hunt will occur after the service.
Vanguard: Come join us for a heart-feeding, gift-stirring, prayer-asking kind of meeting. Fridays at 7 p.m. at the Wallaces (1655 Bracken Rd, Bloomfield Hills).
Healing Prayers on Sunday: We offer prayer and/or anointing for healing, strength or grace. We have healing teams during Holy Communion and after the service.
Food Pantry: Our food ministry helps needy families and supplies are low. Needed items: Cereals (hot or cold); dry goods (pasta, rice, boxed potatoes or stuffing, boxed meal fixings); bottled and canned pasta sauces; canned fruits, soups, stews, chilies, and beans; flour; sugar; boxed pancake, muffin, cake, brownie, and bread mixes; condiments; peanut butter; tuna; apple sauce; drink mixes; cleaning supplies; and toiletries.
